their peers. This creates additional
pressure and better enables them to
perform in varying conditions. During

handgun tactics and marksmanship. The
entire course is conducted on the range

concealment, shooting in close and
extremely close confrontations, shooting
from cover, moving and shooting, handing
multiple threats, tactical reloading and
malfunction/stoppage clearance. Safe gun
handling is stressed throughout the
course. In addition, the laws of
self-defense are reviewed and students
are asked to evaluate various real-life
scenarios to determine whether deadly
force is justified.
